Thanks so much for taking time to visit my humble blog! I’ve redesigned the whole thing. I wanted it to be more warm and intimate and personal. How better to make it that way than with a huge picture of me smiling right at you? I will try to do my best to respond to comments and keep things interactive. The same goes for my Facebook page and Twitter account (accessible at the top right on large screens). New posts automatically get tweeted and shared via my new Facebook author page, which is a work in progress (feel free to “like” it). I have no paucity of things to write about, but feel free to send in questions you’d enjoy seeing discussed.
The redesign should also work well on mobile devices. Note that the search and subscription fields are at the bottom.
My original intention with this blog was mostly to share in group prayer times with people. I have published and ruminated on a few prayers. I didn’t mean to make this a Creation-Genesis blog, but personal events in my life led me to write on these things. I am humbled by the enthusiastic response. A bit more is coming.
I will do my best to keep content appearing regularly, and to keep it high-quality. I no longer lead a physical Bible class, so this is my new lay ministry. May it honor Christ, and not me. As someone who’s maintained a closely-guarded professional image the past few years, my goal in this space is to become more and more transparent and vulnerable and see how God might work through that.
In addition to my full-time job, being a husband and dad, and now blogging, I have also taken on additional exciting writing projects (both academic and spiritual) that may pull my time away from my internet friends. That doesn’t mean I don’t care about you anymore! Besides, you always have Jesus and the love of God which he pours into your hearts through the Holy Spirit.
